Due to her lineage, she is skilled in sorcery and is adept at utilizing herbs and potions and practicing necromancy Multi-faceted and intelligent, Circe was a goddess that had to do it all herself, and thus has become a symbol of knowledge and feminine power. She was able by means of drugs and incantations to change humans into wolves, lions, and swine. The Greek hero Odysseus visited her island, Aeaea, with his companions, whom she changed into swine
