One of the principal deities of the Norse pantheon, the lovely and enchanting Freya was a goddess of blessings, love, lust, and fertility. A member of the Vanir tribe of deities, Freya shared her people's penchant for the magical arts of divination. Unlike the other norse gods her death was never mentioned and worship of the goddess still continued even after the gods and their religion fell and was replaced. Freya is also a protection goddess as she looks after the dead. But just like with everyone she is thought of as evil because of some of her actions. Freyja is known as the goddess of love, fertility, beauty, sex, war, death, gold, and magic. Freyja travels in a chariot pulled by two cats, she rides a boar, and she uses a magic cloak. The Necklace of Brisings is a fertility symbol associated with Freyja. Freyja, like all Asgardian gods, is near immortal and resistant to disease and illness. She has superhuman strength, endurance, durability and can speak in the languages of the Ten Realms. But unlike other Asgardians, Freyja can wield powerful magic.
